EJ's Frontyard

The Cafe is located at a very beautiful area. The view from the cafe is absolutely breathtaking especially of the Mt. Kanchenjunga. The food and beverages offered are also very delicious and fulfilling. The service provided by the staff is excellent which I was impressed with. The way the owners and the staff treat and provide for the guests is exceptional.

The highlight for us was definitely the local delicacies; the jhol momos were simply divine! Their passion for good food and hospitality truly shines through, adding to the overall experience. Travelled to Kurseong-Darjeeling last week, and stumbled upon EJ's Frontyard... My parents, wife and kids felt at home instantly. The food, the atmosphere, the service and attention, the location, the view and the conversation with the hosts were absolutely perfect. We couldn't have asked for more. Everything about the place personified the local culture of Kurseong - must visit to really experience Kuresong. Edna even helped us with some local sightseeing. That evening was a memory of a lifetime!

Met Edna and her family at their pretty & cozy diner last week.....we loved the food and the relaxed family vibe, and my daughters and I enjoyed the little music set-up. Edna even allowed us to sing a few songs! Thank you EJ family for your warmth, you gave us an evening to remember!

Very cosy and beautiful cafe and stay. The location is amazing, between the mountains as well as on the main road. The food is great. An amazing place for stay-cation, casual meals / coffee as well as partying and chilling. There are occasional live music and karaoke nights as well.

The place is truly a "Home Stay". Me and my wife are touched with our stay. Instantly I got into the place I said to my wife that this is my place. My favourite place in Kurseong. The host is so kind and so friendly that you will truly feel that you are at home with your cousins. The taste of decor and front yard design has really a special feeling. Being an artist, I found the place very elegant. Sitting on the balcony, having a cup of tea and looking at the tea gardens and mountains are pure bliss. Moreover, the foods are their absolute delicacy. They are simple yet so powerful in taste that you will surely find them as one of the best in town. *Please don't consider this place as a hotel where we all order and complain if the need is slightly compromised. Because they will treat you as their family and same from you while you are staying*
